USA Boccia has secured and continues to secure equipment as part of its Membership Services Benefits.

The USA Boccia Loan Bank Program is designed to bridge the gap between when a member gains interest in the sport of Boccia and when they can acquire their own equipment.

The loan bank primarily encompasses Boccia balls but also includes some ramps and head pointers for BC3 athletes.

Much like other sports equipment, an athlete needs to determine what is their equipment preference.  A number of factors is included in this assessment including but not limited to: ball texture, ball weight(s), athlete diagnosis’s and ranges of motion, etc.

After an athlete experiments and determines what type of equipment they prefer then they or the club need to acquire their own equipment.  At this point, the loan bank equipment needs to be returned for additional distribution to other new athletes.
