SafeSport
Together, the U.S. Center for SafeSport and USA Boccia are committed to building a sport community where participants can work and learn together in an atmosphere free of emotional, physical, and sexual misconduct. Please review USA Boccia’s Background Check policies, the SafeSport Code and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy and join us in creating a safe and positive environment for our athletes, coaches, other leadership and USA Boccia staff.
SafeSport Training
To ensure the safety of all those affiliated with USA Boccia, any employee, intern, volunteer, instructor, coach, referee, administrator or member who is formally authorized or appointed to a position of authority over, or will have frequent contact with athletes within a USA Boccia event or club activity must successfully complete the U.S. Center for SafeSport’s training on an annual basis. Additional training for minor athletes, provided by the US Center for SafeSport, is available upon request by a parent or guardian.
For instructions on completing these items, please review the applicable FAQs below.
