Support USA Boccia on #GivingTuesday to help our youth, veterans

and adult athletes with physical disabilities thrive!

Even in the arena of wheelchair sports, too many children and adults with moderate to severe physical disabilities are unable to participate and are thus left on the sidelines.

USA Boccia aims to change that!

With your help, we will promote and grow Boccia—the world’s most inclusive sport—across the United States!

As a precision sport built on strategy and skill, Boccia possesses a combination of throwing and ramp divisions, allowing it to uniquely serve children and adults across the complete spectrum of physical disabilities.

Boccia is the world’s most inclusive sport!

Everyone no matter what your diagnosis can participate at some level!

¤ NO operational funding from state governments

If USA Boccia is to develop and grow, we need to raise at least $250,000 per year.  This will provide current member services and expose Boccia to 5 new states.

What it costs NOW to participant in Boccia:

♦ $640 average set of competition ball set

♦ $2,500 for ramp and travel case

♦ $4,000 to send one athlete to Nationals.

♦ $15,000 for one club to send it athletes to a Regional Tournament

♦ $25,000 for one club to send a team to Nationals.

USA Boccia needs to develop many local events in order to decrease the cost of participating in Boccia.

USA Boccia’s only large event is our National Tournament.  There are virtually no local competitions due to a lack of awareness and severity of athlete’s medical conditions to conduct an event.

USA Boccia provides a vehicle for meaningful athletic success at local, regional, national, and international levels. At its highest levels, Boccia even takes athletes to the Paralympics every four years!

USA Boccia offers incredible new opportunities for physical activity, comradery, and goal setting as many participants begin seeing themselves as athletes for the first time.

USA Boccia levels playing fields by giving athletes with disabilities an avenue to compete successfully side-by-side with family, friends, and peers.

USA Boccia helps break stigmas and barriers—both attitudinal and structural—that our athletes face living in our inaccessible world more broadly.

Yet, for as much opportunity as Boccia provides, USA Boccia needs your help to maximize it! As a growing but small global sport, opportunities to try Boccia in the United States remain limited.

Only YOU can make the DIFFERENCE for our PLAYERS!

We thank you in advance for your support of USA Boccia on this #GivingTuesday. By helping us grow Boccia, you are changing the lives of countless new and current athletes while also helping to build a better, more accessible, and more inclusive world!
